They all take pride in what they do and love sharing their unique experiences with you and giving suggestions on how to prepare the food that you buy from them. Say "hi" and feel free to ask questions when you shop! Here is a snapshot of what you can expect to see at the Medina Square Farmers Market. ​
PRODUCE
​​Richardson Farms
In 1858, Ben L. Richardson started a produce and dairy farm in Medina County. Today, Bill Richardson and son Ben run the farm using the time-tested traditions of their family, as well as new techniques learned through their degrees in fruit and vegetable growing and tree maintenance. Bill's commitment to good farming practices is matched only by his love of what he does which is expressed any time you talk to him working at the stand, spending time at the various farmer's markets they attend all over the area, or out in the greenhouse giving advice. He enjoys giving tours of the farm and will happily introduce you to the pigs, cows, turkeys and chickens that call Richardson’s home. Richardson's offers a full line of produce, fruits, eggs, jams and jellies, potted flowers, hanging baskets, perennials and more!

Moreland Fruit Farm
Moreland Fruit Farm is located in southern Wayne County in Amish Country. They are a diversified farm where you can pick your own strawberries, red, black and purple raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and apples as well as sweet and hot peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, pickles and squash, and mums. The Moreland Farm booth offers a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Quiroz Family Farm
Quiroz Family Farm is located in Atwater, Ohio with 80 acres of farmland owned and operated by Sophia and Miguel Quiroz-Cruz. They offer apples, peaches, nectarines, plums, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, melons, watermelon, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet corn, green beans, beets, lettuces, collard greens, radishes, zucchini, cucumbers, pickles, squash and pumpkins. The Quiroz Family Farm booth offers seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Family Roots Farm

Family Roots Farm is a fourth generation farm in Hinckley established in 1896. Rod and Jennifer Sharpnack acquired the property from grandfather Duane Root in 2015 specializing in certified organic gourmet garlic and heirloom produce. Family Roots Farm is nationally classified as an "Organic Plus" farm using Vedic and Biodynamic farming methods with permaculture-design and agroforestry to create an optimal landscape for a farm operation that is completely sustainable, nurturing, and all-natural. "We only grow heirloom crop varieties that would have been found on our farm when it originated over 135 years ago- to keep with the historic-nature of the property." They are members of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Organic Trade Association, The Biodynamic Association, The Garlic Seed Foundation, International Permaculture Association and are also Certified Naturally Grown. The land is certified organic by OEFFA.  "Our land has been placed into a conservation easement with The Western Reserve Land Conservancy to ensure our land is forever preserved in agriculture." The Family Roots Farm booth offers seasonal heirloom varieties of garlics, tomatoes, pumpkins, cukes, squash, beans, peppers and more.

​​Richardson Farms
​​Richardson Farms now offers locally raised beef and pork at their booth processed by Homestead Springs Farm, Shiloh, Ohio in Ashland Co., specializing in prepackaged sausages like beer bratwurst, garlic bratwurst, cheddar bratwurst, and peach jalapeño bratwurst, as well as sweet & hot Italian sausage, and chorizo ... bulk sausages, breakfast links and pork chops are also available. As far as beef options, they offer various packaged cuts of steaks, roasts, ground beef, and pre-made beef patties. The Richardson Farms booth will offer prepackaged bratwurst, sausages, chorizo, pork chops, breakfast links, steaks, roasts, ground beef, and pre-made patties.

Bunker Hill Cheese
Bunker Hill Cheese makes time-honored classics including Farmers, Colby, and Marble Cheeses, and their famous Fiesta Jack-Colby with a Jalapeño kick! They also make Everyday Gouda and Smoked Salted Gouda and the classic Bermuda Onion cheese that has long been a favorite here in Ohio's heartland. For those looking for something a little extra, try their Hot! Jalapeno Cheese. All of Bunker Hill's classic cheeses are made with fresh milk from small, local farms here in Ohio. They say, "We make classic cheese the right way, with the care you'd expect from a family-owned business, in small batches by hand with a European tradition." The Bunker Hill Cheese booth will offer a variety of cheeses and eventually cured meats and jerkies.

Bubba's Bleu Dips & Dressing

Bubba’s Bleu is committed to bringing you the freshest, richest, chunkiest, and most flavorful dip and dressing in Ohio! Bubba's Bleu is a signature line of Bleu cheese dips and dressings that will change the way you think about Bleu cheese. Dan Fronk, aka "Bubba," and family make their handcrafted dips and dressings locally, in small batches, to ensure the highest quality in freshness and flavor. "Once you taste Bubba's Bleu and realize its versatility, you will know why Bubba asks, 'What Will YOU Do with the BLEU?'"  The Bubba's Bleu booth offers 16 oz. jars of dips and dressing in three flavors: Original, Smoked, & Fire. Also available in 3 oz. gift sets.

​Elk Creek Honey
Tim and Renee Moore own and operate Elk Creek Honey Farm in Wellington, Ohio. They specialize in all-natural, raw honey collected from their own hives. In addition to raw honey, they offer herbal-infused honeys with organic, home-grown garden herbs such as lavender, rose petal, chocolate-mint, ginger, elderberry, and rosemary; flavored-infused honeys from organic ingredients like cinnamon, cacao, lemon, and Habanero peppers; and creamed honeys that are spreadable like peanut butter available in wildflower, cinnamon, and pecan flavors. They also produce lotions, lip balms, and beeswax candles and bars. Tim and Renee say, "we are beekeepers with a real appreciation for honeybees and 'raw' all natural, local honey. All of our honey is kept as pure and natural as possible from the hive to you. Spring honey is usually light-colored with a delicate floral taste, while darker honey is bolder the flavor." The Elk Creek Honey booth offers local honey and products from the hive, lotion bars, lip balm, dog treats, apple butter, peach salsa, candy, jams, and jellies. 

Gourmet Firehouse Salsa

In 2017, retired firefighter and paramedic Capt. Ang founded Gourmet Firehouse Salsa in Cleveland. Made with all-natural ingredients: "Our fruit-based salsa packs the heat and sweet. Whether you’re tired of traditional tomato-based salsa or you’re looking to spice up a home-cooked meal, our fruit-based salsa will leave you craving more. Our salsa is available in pineapple, mango, and mandarin orange flavor varieties. Each batch is made locally with no preservatives and it's gluten free." The Gourmet Firehouse Salsa booth offers Habanero salsa in mild, medium, or hot with the fruit-based flavors of pineapple, mango, or mandarin orange.

Not Yo' Daddy's Mexican Hot Sauce​
Not Yo’ Daddy’s Mexican Hot Sauce® is made from an original, secret, family recipe hailing from Durango, Mexico.Their hot sauce brings forth the bold and distinctive flavors from “El Norte” - the northern region of Mexico. The deliberate selection of ingredients makes this hot sauce the perfect balance of hot and flavorful sure to satisfy the most adventurous and daring palates. The Not Yo' Daddy's booth offers Mexican hot sauce in Original, Sweet Smoke, Olé Chipotle, Ghost Pepper, Scotch (Bold) Bonnet, and Mexican Hot Dust (spice rub).

Peer Pantry
Peer Pantry is a health & wellness alternative products and services brand, that offers healthier alternatives for custom meal prep and sauces that are gluten-free, soy-free, and also focus on most dietary restrictions. Founder Marcus Coleman lives in Mayfield Heights, Ohio and holds a background in nutrition and was a former K-12 educator with Cleveland City Schools. Marcus noticed kids had lack of understanding about nutrition and food sources. His mission is to teach them about healthy food alternatives and to help with those with dietary issues. That need grew into a line of nutritious and flavorful plant-based sauces and marinades. Marcus also operated Peer Pantry Health, a non-profit organization of the Peer Pantry brand with a mission to socially impact under-served populations through the education of proper nutrition through health & wellness initiatives created for kids, parents and senior citizens. The Peer Pantry booth offers plant-based sauces and marinades in Lemon Tahini, Roasted Red Pepper (Tomato Free), Spicy Cilantro, and Sweet & Tangy Balsamic..

Stumpwater Farm

Stumpwater Farm is third-generation family owned and operated. We combine using a traditional wood fired evaporator with the latest in maple technology to produce award-winning maple products. We also run an ever-growing apiary. In 2016 we built a brand-new store to supply maple equipment and beekeeping supplies. Jared and Sara Baxter, co-owners. The Stumpwater Farm booth offers pure Ohio maple syrup and maple products.

The Blonde Italian 
Owner, Lauren Falcione has been seen on Fox8 New Day Cleveland and ABC's SHARK TANK. She says "If you love to cook or just want it to taste like you do, my sauces help you make memorable meals quickly. The Blonde Italian booth offers a wide variety of pasta sauces and toppings, bruschetta, dipping oil, garlic seasonings and rubs.

The Olive Tap
Christina Douglas owns and operates The Olive Tap at 30 Public Square in Medina. She says, "not all extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars are created equal!" The Olive Tap is passionate about its unique partnerships with producers from around the world that allow us to provide the highest quality EVOO and aged balsamic vinegar. The Olive Tap booth offers olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, and tapenade.

Cleveland Pickle
Cleveland Pickle's hand-packed pickle chunks are as unique as they are delicious. The mini English cucumber, also known as a “Persian” is a sleek, sexy variety of cucumber that gives you the extra crunch and snap you taste in every bite of our flavors. Owner Josh Kabat says, "Their ain’t no pickle, like a Cleveland Pickle!" The Cleveland Pickle booth offers pickles in Sweet & Spicy, Spicy Garlic Dill, Mustard, and Original Garlic.​

Fresh2UCoffee

Gary Gray lives is Greenwich, Ohio and is an artisan coffee roaster, roasting single origins from 31 countries, mostly from Central America, and other countries like Sumatra and Ethiopia. He produces approximately 78 flavors in numerous blends as well as wine-barrel-aged coffees. Gary offers specialty grinding at no additional charge. He says, "This is the freshest premium artisan roasted coffee around in small and large batches for all occasions, paying attention to detail ... and done right. We roast amazing coffee!" The Fresh2UCoffee booth offers coffee, coffee products, fair trade, new blends, teas, hot chocolate, and cold drinks.

Medina Creative Housing
Medina Creative Housing (MCH) is a non-profit organization that raises funds to provide those with disabilities in Medina County the opportunity for independent living, educational opportunities, and employment programs. Medina Creative Produce provides vocational training for students from Medina County School Districts and adults with physical and developmental disabilities develop skills such as cultivating, harvesting and marketing locally grown, nutrient rich Butter Bibb and Romaine lettuce. Creative Living Coffee provides vocational training for students and adults with physical and developmental disabilities who roast, package, and distribute our own special blends. Creative Housing also owns and operates the Grande Cafe and Roastery. The Medina Creative Housing booth offers roasted coffees, pesto sauce, seasonal vegetables, dog biscuits, to go food items, and baked goods.

Smyrna Mediterranean Morsels
Huri Mutlu from Hudson, Ohio cooks ready-to-eat foods from Mediterranean cuisines. The menu includes homestyle soups and chili, rice dished (gluten free options), grape leaves, cabbage rolls, roasted peppers, bulgur pilafs, vegan and vegetarian dished, appetizers, pies, baked goods and desserts. We also have Middle Eastern dips, salads, falafel, pita bread, spinach and feta pies, meat pies, Zatar spices, cheese bread, pita chips, spices, olives and sauces. The Smyrna Mediterranean Morsels booth offers prepared, precooked and prepackaged  homemade Mediterranean foods and desserts.

​Back Attack Snacks 
Backattack Snacks is located in Brookpark, Ohio and specializing in making premium-quality, delicious, gourmet, healthy snacks of premium beef jerky, and flavored oven-roasted almonds. Backattack Snacks was founded to provide consumers a healthy snack alternative without the need for a PhD in chemistry to understand what they are eating. Owner Brian Back brings over 15 years of professional culinary experience including Chef de Tournant, Saucier Chef, Marketing Chef, and Culinary Instructor throughout the Ohio region. Co-owner Lauren Back brings 10 years of educational leadership and training experience. The Backattack Snacks booth offers great healthy snacks: Premium Beef Jerky, Oven Roasted Almonds, and Trail Mix.

BREADS of Fairlawn
BREADS located in Fairlawn, Ohio offers specialty breads as well as European treats and sweet favorites. BREADS was established in Fairlawn, Ohio with the desire to make truly natural handmade Artisan Breads and amazing pastries, cookies and sweets. All BREADS and pastries are prepared daily with no preservatives or artificial ingredients.The Breads of Fairlawn booth offers a variety of artisan breads and sweets.

​Caked
Jacqueline Sheehan is an in-home baker who offers a variety of baked goods to keep your sweet tooth satisfied this summer. Since she began selling sweet treats in 2018 and primarily bakes for birthdays and weddings, her most popular items are French macarons and cookies. Currently, she work as a full-time nurse at Medina Hospital in the Emergency Department and does baking as a hobby. Jacqueline is hoping to grow her business and one day have her own bakery. She adds, "I am so excited to join the Medina Farmer’s Market this year and I cannot wait to share all of my delicious bakery!" The Caked booth offers cookies, macarons, cupcakes, muffins, cakes, and brownies.

Candyapple & Co.
Debbie Stevens owns and operates the newly expanded Candyapple Boutique at 109 W. Washington St. in Medina and is famous for her specialty caramel and candy apples. Established in 2016, Candyapple & Co. started as a landscaping company and evolved into something sweet! Owned by proud locals of Medina, our company strives to provide delicious and unique treats that can pair with any occasion. Debbie says, "not only do we offer over 100 specialty hand-dipped candy and caramel apples, we also provide skincare products, jewelry, home decor, and fine gifts in our boutique." The Candyapple & Co. booth offers candy and caramel apples, dipped chocolates, brownies, and ginger snaps.

Gray House Pies
Gray House Pies in Westlake bakes pies “from scratch” with pure ingredients. They make their our own butter crusts with 100% fresh sweet butter and the pies containing no preservatives, fillers or canned fruit including Apple, Caramel Apple, Peaple (peach & apple), Four Berry Buzzed Friends (our 4 berry pie w/ brandy & honey), Blueberry, Berry Cherry (blueberry & cherry), Drunken Cherry (sweet cherries, tart cherries & bourbon), Apple Jack (fresh peeled apples, Jack Daniels & honey) Berry Peachy (Peach & Blueberry) Cherry, Peach, Four Berry Good Friends (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry), Sunshine (cherry & peach), Appleberry (apple & blueberry). Gray House Quiche is made with local free-range eggs including asparagus & cheddar, bacon mushroom & cheddar, ham & cheese, Greek isle (spinach & feta), Lorraine (bacon & Swiss) pies. The Gray House Pies booth will offer a variety of fruit pies, quiches and cookies.

Kountry Krunchin’s Kettle Korn
Kountry Krunchin’s offers five different flavors of popcorn. Their signature popcorn is homemade kettle corn followed by cheese, butter, caramel with peanuts and their "hull-less" caramel corn. Owner and operator Matt Weiland says. "We pride ourselves in our quality product and locally grown corn that comes from right here in OHIO! We cannot wait for you to try our different popcorn and fall in love with it!" The Kountry Krunchin's booth offers kettle korn, cheese, hot cheese, butter, caramel, cinnamon corns, Bavarian nuts, water, and pop.

MinusG Baking Co.

MinusG owner Katherine Krage from Chardon, is a fifth generation baker who always loved to bake and design new recipes. In 2004, she was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and searched to find a gluten-free equivalent to sweet and savory baked goods, In 2015, she started her own business formulating tasty, gluten-free baking mixes that are celiac safe, top eight allergy-free, plant-based, vegan, preservative-free, rice-free, and Non-GMO. MsCotti’s Biscotti & Scones
MsCotti’s success story began in 2004, as entrepreneur and baker, Souheil El-Richani set out to start his own bakery. As the youngest of eight siblings, Souheil knew very well that you must work hard to be respected. Souheil began his operations in a small warehouse space in Cleveland baking to a handful of clients. Eventually, an overwhelming response to his unique biscotti led him to expand to a 4,500-sq.-ft. warehouse facility. Today, MsCotti’s biscotti and scones can be found in numerous coffee shops, grocery chains, specialty markets and restaurants throughout the country.Cleveland-based, MsCotti Inc. is best known for its unique line of “softer” hand-dipped biscotti and “flavorful” scones. Their goal is to provide our valued customers with quality products made from only the finest and freshest ingredients. The MsCotti's booth offers fresh baked scones, biscotti, and cookies.

Something's Popping

Lorene Hocevar owns and operate this local gourmet popcorn store located at 47 Public Square in Medina. She specializes in delicious, different gourmet popcorn flavors. Something’s Popping also offers holiday, sports and everyday themed tins and boxes. The Somethings Popping booth will offer sea salt caramel, kettle, and 20 varieties of cheese flavored popcorn along with cotton candy.

Orange Wood Bake Shop

John & Donna Menyes from Uniontown, Ohio are the owners and produces their own homemade cottage food products. The Orange Wood Bake Shop booth offers jams and jellies, Hungarian nutrolls, poppyseed rolls, spice packets, and cookies. 

One Lucky Dog Bakery

Stacey Sutphen owns and operates One Lucky Dog bakery at 45 Public Square in Medina. All dog treats contain no preservatives, no wheat, no corn and soy, except for their Peanut Butter Biscotti which are made from white flour. The store opened in 2008 with a mission to do the very best for your dog including keep your dog in the very best health. The One Lucky Dog Bakery booth offers dog treats and essential oils​.

Papou’s Pastries

Papou's Pastries in North Royalton, Ohio bakes 100% homemade Greek Baklava, butter cookies and other unique Greek pastries from all-natural ingredients. Papou's Pastries is owned and operated by a 100% Greek baker. Demetrios Savaidis takes pride in his baking and does it to spread the joy and togetherness that good, homemade pastries can bring to any gathering.in North Royalton. Demetrios says, "All pastries are treated like we're making them for Sunday dinner with our family. Our homemade bakery is fresh, delicious, and made with love." The Papou's Pastries booth offers homemade Greek Baklava and other pastry items.

Simply Sweet Indulgence

Simply Sweet Indulgence is a bakery based out of North Royalton. It came about when two friends, Sherry and Daniela, got together and shared their joy and love of baking. As time went on and friends and their friends requested more they decided to venture after a dream and form their business. They specialize in cake balls, cupcakes and other desserts. "Our desserts are made always fresh to order. Bring a little more sweetness to your next event no matter how large or small by bringing something for your friends from Simply Sweet Indulgence." Pre-orders can be made for Saturday pickup at instagram.com/simplysweetindulgence or by calling 440-376-4338. The Simply Sweet Indulgence booth offers homemade flavored cake balls in Cookies and Cream, Birthday Cake, Lemon, Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, and S’mores.

Tres Chic Macarons & Sweets
Alina Koontz is an in-home baker whipping up handcrafted sweet treats. Alina says "Our macarons are not your typical French delicay. Take a taste of our yummy macarons, stuffed and filled cookies, along with an amazing array of custom cakes." They will also take orders for your events. The Tres Chic Macarons booth offers macarons, maookies (macaron stuffed cookies), and cookie sandwiches.

Witzi's Raw Granola

Amy Witzigreuter from Rocky River is the owner of Witzi's Raw Granola made of raw, pre-soaked and dehydrated nuts and seeds, packed with nutrition, easy to digest and good tasting in a variety of flavors. The raw nuts and seeds are soaked then dehydrated to remove moisture and  preserve vitamins and minerals. The granola is organic and grain free shown to improve gut health and overall well being. They use essential oils from lemons and oranges for example commonly associated with health and healing as well as maple syrup as a vegan alternate sweetener to sugar and sugar substitutes. The Witzi's Raw Granola booth offers raw granola in Original, Golden (ginger/tumeric), Banana Berry, Savory Spice and Pumpkin Spice.

​Dee Raudins is a designer specializing in unique air plant arrangements made from "upcycled" materials that are easy-to-care-for succulents.

Berry’s Blooms
Flowers are healing! Bob & Teri Berry own and operate Berry's Blooms Farm on Granger Road in Medina. Their retail shop offers a variety of fresh flower bouquets, arrangements, bulk flowers, plants, giftware and seasonal items. The Berry's Blooms booth offers a variety of seasonal cut flowers and bouquets.

Bucha Bill’s Kombucha

Bucha Bill Bond began brewing Kombucha in 2008 while researching the many important rolls raw living foods play in the human body everyday. He came across an ancient panacean remedy of fermented green tea and sugar that aides a multitude of bodily ailments mainly through detoxification. What started out as an occasional refreshing alternative to coffee, sodas and alcohol became his daily ritual of mind/body well being. Health Junkie

Made right in Cleveland, Health Junkie's Elderberry Syrup is delicious with organic ingredients, local honey, and a great value! At Health Junkie, their mission is to provide you with reliable information and only the best quality products, featuring hand-selected ingredients and handmade in small batches with love. Lavender Grace Aromatherapy

Owner and operator Melissa Jackson from Medina provides home-made, custom essential oil blends that are certified organic, aromatherapy education and therapeutic bath and body products. Melissa is a certified master aromatherapist and aromatherapy consultant. The Lavender Grace booth offers essential oils and custom blends, custom therapeutic body scrubs, bath salt bar, and herbs.​

Prolific Plants

Wellspring Farm
Heide Lehman owns and operates Wellspring Farm that breeds Purebred American Registered La Mancha Goats. She produces goat milk products that contain vitamins and minerals thought to reduce wrinkles, moisturize skin, and treat psoriasis and eczema. Heide's goat milk products are all natural and locally made. The Wellspring Farm booth offers goat milk products, honey, jams, seasonal veggies, and herbs.
